GracePoint Church in Wichita Begins Disaster Relief For Moore, OK Donations are being accepted right now at www.gracepointchurch.tv. By clicking on the Support Moore Oklahoma banner you'll be able to give safely & securely online. 100% of all donations will go directly toward relief efforts in Moore. Monetary will also be accepted on site at GracePoint Church throughout the week, checks can be made payable to Kansas Tornado Relief (memo: Moore tornado). Hygiene Products (combs, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine products, soap, shampoo) First Aid supplies (Band-Aids, antibiotic ointment, etc.) Baby Items (diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, etc., no baby clothes) Batteries Flash Lights Gallon-sized Ziploc Bags GracePoint will not be accepting any clothes donations! Donations will be accepted at GracePoint Church, 9035 W. Central (Central & Tyler) in the lobby anytime toda through 10PM tonight. A small group comprised of GracePoint Lead Pastor Mike Snow, Executive Pastor Terry Johnson and other GP staff and volunteers will be taking a box truck of supplies to Oklahoma within the next 24 hours. Once they reach the devastated area they will begin working with local churches to assess needs, provide supplies and provide systems to help survivors. This is the first wave to provide the Moore community with a sustainable relief effort from many in the Wichita faith community. GracePoint Church also operates as Kansas Tornado Relief and has responded to tornadoes in Joplin, Missouri and in the Oaklawn area of Wichita. |
